What is the difference between the Original and the Deluxe model?
The models differ in materials and included accessories. The Deluxe model is especially applied for warmer months as we have integrated an extra foam layer in the middle part and the Deluxe model's outer layer is constructed from nylon instead of polyester. Together, this results in improved insulation. In addition, a thermal lid and a thermometer are included in the deluxe model.
How often should I change the water?
We recommend emptying the ice bath 2 to 4 times per month. The frequency varies depending on the season and how often the ice bath is used. During the summer, when the humidity is higher, it may be necessary to empty the ice bath more often. Here we recommend that it be emptied once a week or every two weeks. We also offer Epsom and Himalayan salt in the store which can maintain stable water quality for longer.
Can the ice bath be left outside in all weather conditions?
Yes, the ice bath can be left outside all year round and in all weather conditions. The only thing you need to remember is to use the protective case when the ice bath is not in use.
Can I have the ice bath on my balcony?
Short Answer: Yes, it is possible.
But you should check how much weight your balcony can bear with your housing association. Our models have different capacities, but it is important to point out that the ice bath should only be filled to 70% to compensate for body weight. By law, new balconies must support at least 250 kg per square meter - most modern balconies have a bearing capacity of 375 kg per square meter, which quickly becomes 1 ton with just 3 square meters.
When it comes to filling and draining water, you can buy a hose connector in various hardware stores for easy filling and draining of water. This also requires a water hose.
How does the water stay cold?
Our ice baths are designed with an insulation system in different materials that allows the water to stay cold. During summer periods it will be necessary to add ice. The quantity depends on which of our models you choose.
We also recommend placing the ice bath in the shade, so that the water is not heated by the sun.
What do I do if I regret my purchase?
At Polax offers 30 days open purchase. This means you can easily return the package and get a full refund if you regret it.
Does the product come with a lid?
Yes it does. A lid is included for the ice bath on all our models, so that the water does not get dirty and contributes to increased insulation.
Can I maybe be in the ice bath?
We have designed all our ice baths to fit all sizes. In our Isbad Pro™ there is actually room for 2 people.
How portable is the ice bath?
